ORDER
Consequent upon appointment of officers of West Bengal Cadre from State Civil Services (Non-SCS category) to IAS on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List of 2016 vide this Department’s Notification No. 14015/24/2017-AIS-(I) B dated 8.2.2018 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of West Bengal vide their letter No no.467-PAR(IAS)/Comnr.07/17(partIII) dated 6.3.2018, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(iii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, as amended vide notification No.14014/04/2011-AIS-I dated 5.5.2015 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. The weightage formula is as under:-

Page 1 of 22.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 in the Select List of 2016 (Non-SCS quota) shall be placed below Subhra Chakrabari, the junior most promotee IAS officer of 2007 batch (SL-2016-SCS category) and above Ms. V. Lalithalakshmi, senior most RR IAS officer of 2008 batch of West Bengal Cadre.
2.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 2 in the Select List of 2016 (Non-SCS quota) shall be placed below Shri Rabijyoti Majumdar, the junior most promotee IAS officer of 2008 batch (SL-2016-SCS category) and above Ms. Shilpa Gourisaria, senior most RR IAS officer of 2009 batch of West Bengal Cadre.
