This document details the inter-cadre transfer of IAS officer Vipin Kumar Jain from the Assam-Meghalaya cadre to the Uttar Pradesh cadre. The transfer is based on his marriage to Annapurna Garg, also an IAS officer (UP:2016). This action is taken under the provisions of Rule 5(2) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, with the consent of the governments of Assam, Meghalaya, and Uttar Pradesh. भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 5 के उप-नियम (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा असम, मेघालय और उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य सरकारों की सहमति से केंद्र सरकार एतदद्वारा, श्री विपिन कुमार जैन, आईएएस (एएम.:2016) को सुश्री अन्नपूर्णा गर्ग, आईएएस (यूपी:2016) के साथ विवाह करने के आधार पर असम-मेघालय संवर्ग से उत्तर प्रदेश संवर्ग में स्थानांतरित करती है।
