NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the Governments of Chhattisgarh and Karnataka, the Central Government hereby accords approval to the proposal for inter cadre deputation of Dr. Basavaraju S., IAS (CG:2007) from Chhattisgarh cadre to Karnataka cadre for a period of three years on personal grounds from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

- The Chief Secretary, Govt. of Chhattisgarh, Raipur – 492001 w.r.t. letter No. E1-07/2017/One/2 dated 12.04.2018 with the request to relieve the officer immediately under intimation to this Department.
- The Chief Secretary, Govt. of Karnataka, Bangalore – 560001 w.r.t. letter no DPAR 241 SAS 2018 dated 26.07.2018, with the request to provide a copy of the joining report of the officer to this Department. It is also requested to ensure that the officer is relieved immediately at the end of the approved tenure of inter-cadre deputation if not extended by the Competent Authority before the expiry of the deputation tenure. The officer shall be liable to disciplinary action & break in Service, in case he does not hand over charge at the end of the approved period of deputation.

- The Accountant General, Govt. of Karnataka, Bangalore – 560001 with the request to stop payment of salary to the officer beyond the approved period of deputation.
- Dr. Basavaraju S., IAS (CG:2007) (through the Chief Secretary to the Govt. of Chhattisgarh, Raipur – 492001). You shall be liable to disciplinary action & break in service in terms of DOPT O.M. No.13017/08/2002-AIS.I dated 14.08.2013 and No.13017/05/2013-AIS.I dated 11.11.2017, in case you do not hand over charge at the end of the approved period of deputation.
