Modi and to IAS of Gujarat Cadre Select List of 2017(SCS Category) vide this Department’s Notification No. 14015/06/2018-AIS-(I)-B (1) dated 17th September, 2018 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Gujarat vide their letter no.AIS/16.2018/392631/G dated 25th October, 2018, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, and other relevant rules as amended from time to time as per the weightage formula:-

- Seniority/year of allotment of officer viz. Shri H.C. Modi mentioned at SI. No. 1 in the Select List of 2017 (SCS Category) has been restricted under provisions of the rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS(Regulation of Seniority ) Rules, 1987 which provide that an officer shall not be assigned year of allotment earlier than year of allotment assigned to other officer senior to him in that Select List or appointed on the basis of earlier Select List. 2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 in the Select list of 2017 shall be placed below Shri M.H. Gajare, junior most promotee IAS officer of 2009 batch (SL-2016 SCS) and above Shri Sunilkumar Hiralal Dholi, promotee IAS officer (Non-SCS Category) of 2009 batch of Gujarat cadre. 2.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name have been mentioned at SI. No. 2 to 4 in the Select list of 2017 shall be placed below Dr. Narendra kumar Meena, junior most RR IAS officer of 2010 batch and above Shri Dholakia Tushar Mohanlal, promotee IAS officer (Non-SCS Category) of 2010 batch of Gujarat cadre.
- This issues in supersession of this Department’s of even number dated $9^{\text {th }}$ July, 2018 for the Select List 2017 (SCS Category).
