Consequent upon appointment from State Civil Services to IAS on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List 2017 vide this Department’s Notification No. 14015/12/2018-AIS-(I) B dated 24.12.2018 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Kerala vide their letter No. 4/AIS.A1/2019/GAD dated 8.1.2019, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers of Kerala Cadre has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is as under:-

2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, officers mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 3 in the Select List 2017 (SCS category) shall be placed below Ms. Afsana Perween, junior most RR IAS officer of 2014 batch and above Shri Geromic George, senior most RR IAS officer of 2015 batch of Kerala Cadre.
