Consequent upon appointment of following officers to IAS on promotion by selection from Non-SCS quota on the basis of inclusion of their names in the select list of 2017 vide this Department’s notification No.14015/01/2013-AIS-I(B) dated 10.05.2019 and on receipt of a proposal from the Government of Andhra Pradesh vide their letter No.148/SC.A/A3/2018-28 dated 04.06.2019, seniority/year of allotment of these officers has been computed under Rule 3(3) (iii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987, and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. The Weightage formula is as under:-

- The seniority /year of allotment of the officers at SI. No. 2 has been restricted under proviso to the Rule 3(3)(iii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules. 1987.
2.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at SI.No. 1 to 3 of the Select List of 2017 shall be placed below Shri S. Dilli Rao, junior most promote IAS officer (SCS category) of 2013 batch and above Ms. Vetriselvi K., RR IAS officer of 2014 batch of Andhra Pradesh cadre.
- This is subject to outcome of Writ Petitions filed by Union of India against the orders of Hon’ble CAT, Hyderabad Bench in the cases of Smt. A Vani Prasad, Smt. V. Karuna and Smt. M. Prashanti.
- The orders may be conveyed to the concerned officers.
