ORDER

Consequent upon appointment of officers of Maharashtra Cadre from State Civil Services (NonSCS category) to IAS on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List 2018 vide this Department’s Notification No.14015/14/2019-AIS-(I) dated 27.01.2020 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Maharashtra vide their letter No.AIS-1320/C.R.74/2020/X dated 04.02.2020, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(iii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, as amended vide Notification No.14014/04/2011-AIS-I dated 05.05.2015 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. The weightage formula is as under:-

1. Select List – 2018 (Non-SCS category) (Prepared against vacancies arisen between 1.1.2018 to 31.12.2018)

• Seniority/year of allotment of officers mentioned in the table at SI. No. 2 to 4 in the Select List of 2018 (Non-SCS Category) of Maharashtra Cadre has been restricted under provisions of the rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS(Regulation of Seniority ) Rules, 1987 which provide that an officer shall not be assigned year of allotment earlier than year of allotment assigned to other officer senior to him in that Select List or appointed on the basis of earlier Select List. 3.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name have been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 4 in the Select List of 2018(Non-SCS Category) shall be placed below Dr. B.N. Patil, the junior most promotee IAS officer (N-SCS category) of 2014 batch (SL -2017) and above Shri Aman Mittal, senior most RR IAS officer of 2015 batch of Maharashtra Cadre.
