This notification details the approval for extending the inter-cadre deputation of IAS officer Shri Aunjaneya Kumar Singh from the Sikkim cadre to the Uttar Pradesh cadre for an additional year, effective February 15, 2020. This extension is granted despite the officer already completing five years on inter-cadre deputation, representing a relaxation of standard policy. The notification also outlines the responsibilities of relevant parties, including the Chief Secretaries of Sikkim and Uttar Pradesh, and the Accountant Generals of both states, regarding the officer’s relief and salary payments. It explicitly states the potential for disciplinary action and a break in service if the officer fails to relinquish charge at the end of the approved deputation period. Finally, it details the internal distribution of the notification within the government.
