ORDER

Consequent upon appointment of an officer from State Civil Services of Assam Segment of Joint Assam-Meghalaya Cadre to IAS on the basis of inclusion of his name in the Select List 2018 (Non-SCS category) vide this Department’s notification No. 14015/03/2019-AIS-(I) B dated 24.02.2020 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Assam their letter AA1.9/2019/282 dated 07.03.2020, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(iii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, as amended vide notification No.14014/4.2011-AIS-I dated 5.5.2015 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time.

2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officer whose name has been mentioned at SI. No.1 in the Select List of 2018(N-SCS) shall be placed below Shri Pallav Gopal Jha, the junior RR IAS officer of 2012 batch and above Shri Kailash Karthik N., senior most RR IAS officer of 2013 batch of Assam Segment of Joint Assam-Meghalaya Cadre.
