The Government of India has approved the inter-cadre deputation of Dr. Brahmneet Kaur, an IAS officer of the Tripura cadre (2012 batch), to the Punjab cadre for a period of three years, or until further orders, whichever comes first. This decision was made under the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, with the consent of the Tripura and Punjab state governments. The notification was issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 6(1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और त्रिपुरा तथा पंजाब राज्य सरकारों की सहमति से, केन्द्र सरकार एतदद्वारा डॉ0 ब्रहमनीत कौर, आईएएस (त्रिपुरा:2012) की कार्यभार ग्रहण करने की तिथि से या अगले आदेशों तक, जो भी पहले हो, व्यक्तिगत आधार पर तीन वर्ष की अवधि के लिए त्रिपुरा संवर्ग से पंजाब संवर्ग में अंतर संवर्गीय प्रतिनियुक्ति हेतु प्रस्ताव का अनुमोदन करती है ।
