This notification announces the approval of the inter-cadre deputation of Shri Atar Amir Ul Shafi Khan, an IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre, to the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory. The deputation is approved for a period of three years from the date of joining the new cadre, or until further orders, whichever comes first. This is done with the exercise of powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, and with the consent of the Rajasthan State Government and the Ministry of Home Affairs, providing a departure from the existing policy.

केन्द्र सरकार, भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 6(1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और राजस्थान राज्य सरकार तथा गृह मंत्रालय की सहमति से मौजूदा नीति में छूट देते हुए, श्री अतर आमिर उल शफी खान, आईएएस (आरजे:2016) की राजस्थान संवर्ग से जम्मू कश्मीर संघ राज्य क्षेत्र में उनके कार्यभार ग्रहण करने की तारीख से तीन वर्षों की अवधि के लिए अथवा अगले आदेशों, जो भी पहले हो, तक अंतर-संवर्गीय प्रतिनियुक्ति को एतदद्वारा अनुमोदन प्रदान करती है।
