The central government has approved the extension of the inter-cadre deputation term of Ms. Pinky Jowel, an IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre (2003 batch), to the Tamil Nadu cadre for a period of two years beyond 24.05.2021, or until further orders, with the consent of the governments of Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. This decision is made under the powers conferred by Rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954.

भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (संवर्ग) नियमावली, 1954 के नियम 6(1) द्वारा प्रदत शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा उत्तर प्रदेश और तमिलनाडु राज्य सरकारों की सहमति से, केन्द्र सरकार सुश्री पिंकी जोवेल, आईएएस (उत्तर प्रदेश:2003) की उत्तर प्रदेश संवर्ग से तमिलनाडु संवर्ग में अंतर-संवर्गीय प्रतिनियुक्ति कार्यकाल को 24.05 .2021 के पश्चात् दो वर्ष की अवधि के लिए बढ़ाने या अगले आदेशों तक, जो भी पहले हो, हेतु अनुमोदन प्रदान करती है।
