ORDER
Consequent upon appointment of officers of Jharkhand Cadre from State Civil Services to IAS on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List of 2016 vide this Department’s Notification No. 14015/10/2017-AIS-(I) B dated 24.05.2018 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Jharkhand vide their letter No. 1/C-209/2015-A-3930 dated 5.6.2018, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers was computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, and other relevant rules as amended from time to time and issued vide this Department’s Order No. 14014/11/2005-AIS-I dated 07.06.2018. However, in Select List 2016, some inadvertent typographic incongruities have been noted. Accordingly, the matter has been reexamined and the seniority/year of allotment of the officers appointed to IAS from the Select List 2016 has again been re-determined as under as per following weightage formula:-

3.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, officers mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 16 in the Select List of 2016 shall be placed below Sh. Rajesh Singh, a junior most RR IAS officer of 2007 batch and above Shri Rajiw Kumar, senior most promotee IAS officer of 2007 batch (Non-SCS category) of Jharkhand Cadre. 5.2 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, officers mentioned at SI. No. 17 to 19 in the Select List of 2016 shall be placed below Shri Chandra Shekhar, junior most RR IAS officer of 2008 batch and above Dr. Madhaw Sharan Singh, promotee IAS officer of 2007 batch (Non-SCS category) of Jharkhand Cadre.6. This issues in supersession of this Department’s order of even number dated 07.06.2018. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officers.
