No. ………… In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 8(2) of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954 read with Regulation 8 of the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Selection) Regulations, 1997 and Rule 3 of the Indian Administrative Service (Probation) Rules, 1954 and in compliance of order dated 09.02.2018 of the Hon’ble CAT, Bangalore Bench in OA. No. 170/00883-884/2017 filed by Dr. A. Lokesha & Anr. as affirmed by the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka vide order dated 14.09.2018 and by Hon’ble Supreme Court vide Order dated 14.12.2018, the President is pleased to appoint the following members of the Non-State Civil Service of Karnataka to the Indian Administrative Service against the vacancies determined by Government of India under Regulation 3 of the said Regulations in consultation with the State Government for the Select List of 2016, on probation until further orders and to allocate them to the Karnataka Cadre, under Rule 5(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954:-
