ORDER
Consequent upon appointment from State Civil Service to IAS of Chhattisgarh cadre on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List of 2020 (prepared against vacancies arisen between 01.01.2020 to 31.12.2020) vide Notification No. 14015/05/2021-AIS-(I)B dated 27.05.2022 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Chhattisgarh vide their letter No. E-1-03/2021/1/2 dated 18.07.2022, the Seniority /year of allotment of officers has been computed under Rule 3(3) (ii) of IAS (Regulation of Seniority), Rules 1987 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time. Weightage formula is as under:

*Seniority/year of allotment of officers mentioned at SI. No. 1 in the Select List of 2020(SCS Category) has been restricted under provisions of the rule 3(3)(ii) of IAS(Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 which provide that an officer shall not be assigned year of allotment earlier than year of allotment assigned to other officer senior to him in that Select List or appointed on the basis of earlier Select List.
2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned at SI. No1 to 7 in the Select List 2020 (SCS Category) shall be placed below Smt. Tulika Prajapti, the junior most promotee IAS officer of 2016 batch (Select List 2019) and above Shri Akash Chhikara, the senior most RR IAS officer of 2017 batch of Chhattisgarh cadre.
3. The order may be conveyed to the concerned officers.
