ORDER

Consequent upon appointment of officers from State Civil Services to IAS of West Bengal Cadre on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select Lists of 2020 and 2021 vide this Department’s Notification No. 14015/24/2022-AIS(I)-B dated 07.06.2023 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of West Bengal vide their letter No. 1024-PAR (IAS)/5C-06/2022 dated 22.06.2023, the seniority/year of allotment of the officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, as amended from time to time. As per relevant rules weightage formula is given below:

1. 1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose name has been mentioned at SI. No. 1 to 10 in the Select List 2021 (SCS Category) shall be placed below Shri Rajarshi Mitra, Junior most RR IAS officer of 2012 batch and above Shri Nitin Singhania, senior most RR IAS officer of 2013 batch of West Bengal cadre. 4.
