Consequent upon appointment from State Civil Service to IAS of Bihar Cadre on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select List of 2023 vide DoPT Notification No. 14015/04/2024-AIS(I)-B dated 12.08.2024 and on receipt of the proposal from the Government of Bihar vide their letter No. 1/870-1005/2024(888)-87080-12903/ dated 14.08.2024, the seniority / year of allotment of these officers has been computed under Rule 3(3)(ii) of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987 as amended vide Notification No. 14014/04/2011-AIS-I(A) dated 18.04.2012 and other relevant rules as amended from time to time as per following weightage formula:

2.1 As per Rule 4 of the IAS (Regulation of Seniority) Rules, 1987, the officers whose names have been mentioned above in the Select List of 2023 (SCS) shall be placed below Shri Pravin Kumar, IAS (SL 2022, YoA 2014), the junior most promotee IAS officer of2014 batch of Bihar Cadre and above Shri Suharsha Bhagat, IAS (RR:BH:2015), senior most RR IAS officer of 2015 batch of Bihar Cadre.
