Extension of Inter-Cadre Deputation for IAS Officer Shri Aunjaneya Kumar Singh

E

The Central Government has recently approved a significant personnel move, extending the inter-cadre deputation of Shri Aunjaneya Kumar Singh, an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2005 batch. This extension allows Shri Singh to continue his service from the Sikkim cadre to the Uttar Pradesh cadre for an additional year, effective beyond August 14, 2025. Notably, this decision was made in relaxation of existing policy, highlighting the specific circumstances of this deputation. All concerned authorities, including the Chief Secretaries and Accountant Generals of both Sikkim and Uttar Pradesh, have been notified to ensure a smooth transition and adherence to the terms of the extension. It’s crucial for the officer to relinquish charge promptly at the conclusion of this extended tenure to avoid any disciplinary repercussions or a break in service, with salary payments ceasing automatically if the terms are not met. This ensures strict accountability within the administrative framework.
