Important updates have been issued regarding the pay structure for a specific segment of our administrative services. New regulations, known as the Seventh Amendment Rules, 1977, have been introduced to modify the existing pay framework that governs the Indian Administrative Service. These changes clarify the remuneration for members of the Indian Frontier Administrative Service (IFAS). Specifically, any IFAS officer recruited before January 1, 1968, and assigned to certain designated positions under Schedule III, will now be assured of receiving the salary allocated to that particular post. This new provision ensures that these experienced officers are compensated according to their specific roles, providing stability and clarity in their pay entitlements as long as they continue in those positions.

अप्रैल भारतीय सेवारू अधिनियम, 1951 (1951 का 61) को धारा 3 को उपधारा (1) के द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार, सम्बन्धित राज्य सरकारों के परामर्श के बाद भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा (वेतन) नियम, 1954 में और आगे संशोधन करने के लिए हस्तक्षेपश्चात निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते है, अर्थात् :
- (1) इन नियमों का नाम भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा (वेतन) शास्त्रों संशोधन नियम, 1977 है ।
- (2) ये राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन को तारीख से प्रयुक्त होगा ।
2- भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा (वेतन) नियम, 1954 में नियम 8 के बाद निर्मनलिखित नियम जोड दिया जाएगा, अर्थात् :-
“एक अनुवर्ती ।।। मैं दिए गए पदों पर कार्य करने के लिए नियुक्त भारतीय सोमान्त प्रशासन सेवा के सदस्यों का वेतन
इन नियमों में दी गई किसी बात के बोले हुए भी, भारतीय सोमान्त प्रशासन सेवा का कोई सदस्य, जिसे 1-1-1968 से पहले उक्त सेवा में भर्ती किया गया था और अनुवर्ती ।।। मैं निर्दिष्ट किसी पद पर कार्य करने के लिए नियुक्त किया गया था, जब तक उक्त पद पर कार्य करेगा तब तक उक्त अनुवर्ती मैं निर्दिष्ट उस पद का वेतन लेने का इरादा बाेगा”।
