In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to aricle 3(0) and clause (5) of article 148 of the Constitution and after consultation with the ( omptroller and Auditor-General of India in relation to the persons serving in the Indian Indi and Accounts Department, the President hereby makes the following rules further to anend the Residents of the State of Jammu and Kashmir (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit for Recruitment to Central Civil Services and Posts) Rules, 1997, namely: –
1 (1) These rules may be called the Residents of the State of Jammu and Kashmir (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit for Recruitment to Central Civil Services and Posts) Amendment Rules, 2003 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
- In the Residents of Jammu and Kashmir (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit for Recruitment to Central Civil Services and Posts) Rules, 1997, in rule 1, in sub-rule (3), for figures ” 2003 “, the figures ” 2005 ” shall be substituted.
