NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 10 October, 2013

G.S.R… (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to clause (3) of article 320 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Union Public Service Commission (Exemption from Consultation) Regulations, 1958, namely:-

  1. (1) These regulations may be called the Union Public Service Commission (Exemption from Consultation) Second Amendment Regulations, 2013.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

  1. In the Union Public Service Commission (Exemption from Consultation) Regulation, 1958, in the Schedule-II, after item 7 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be added, namely:-

    “8. Recruitment as may be made at any time within a period of three years to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police in the Central Bureau of Investigation under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, the Department of Personnel and Training.”
