The President has approved the extension of Ms. Mallika Srinivasan’s term as Chairperson of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB). This extension is for one year, commencing from November 19, 2024, and will continue until November 18, 2025, or until further orders are issued. The existing provisions are to be kept in abeyance during this extended period. This notification is to be published in Part 1, Section 2 of the Gazette of India.
