This document announces an amendment to the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965. The amendment, named the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Second Amendment Rules, 1978, is effective from March 21, 1973. Specifically, in Part V of the 1965 rules, under the heading ‘General Staff Branch’, the words ‘Infantry School’ will be replaced with ‘College of Combat’ in item (d) of sub-item (2) of the second and third columns.

आ० धा० 2464-राष्ट्रपति, संविधान के अनुच्छेद 300 के परामुक द्वारा प्रदत्त बस्तियों का प्रतीय करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सिविल सेवा (वर्गीकरण, नियंत्रण थोर धर्मीण) नियम, 1965 में थोर संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते है, धर्मात :-
1 (1) इन नियमों का नाम केन्दीय सिविल सेवा (वर्गीकरण, नियंत्रण थोर धर्मोत्त) संशोधन नियम, 1978 है।
(2) वे 21 मार्च, 1973 मे प्रवृत होंगे।
2 केन्दीय सिविल सेवा (वर्गीकरण, नियंत्रण थोर धर्मोत्त) नियम, 1965 में, भाग V मे, क्रम सं० 2 व के सामने सं.गे (1) जनरल स्टाफ बांध के अंतर्गत इतरे थोर नं’तरे स्तन के उपनय (2) मे मय (व) के सामने “इनकैद्धो स्कूल” शब्दों के स्थान पर “कन्वेट (युद्ध) मज़ाविद्यालय” शब्द रखे जाएंगे ।

S.O. 2464.-In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appesi) Rules, 1965, namely :-
- (1) These rules may be called the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appesi) Second Amendment Rules, 1978.
(2) They shall come into force with effect from the 21st March, 1973. - In the Schedule to the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appesi) Rules, 1965, in Part V, against Serial No. 2-B under the heading (i) General Staff Branch, against item (d) in sub-item (2) of the second and third columns, for the words “Infantry School” the words “College of Combat” shall be substituted.
