This notification, issued by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, announces amendments to the Central Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964. Exercising powers granted by Article 309 of the Constitution and clause (5) of Article 148, the President is introducing these changes. Specifically, the amendments rename the rules to the Central Civil Services (Conduct) Eligibility Amendment Rules, 1976, and they come into effect from the date of their publication in the Gazette of India. Additionally, the rules revise the monetary limits for certain provisions, replacing “1000/- and 500/- rupees” with “2000/- and 1000/- rupees” respectively in rule 18 of the Central Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964. These changes are made in consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.

काठमाडा – राष्ट्रपति, रजिस्ट्रेशन के अनुच्छेद 309 के परन्तु तथा अनुच्छेद 140 के खण्ड (5) दूषारा प्रबल शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, और इसी तक भारत के लेखा परीक्षा और लेखा विभाग में सेवा करने वाले व्यक्तियों का सम्बन्ध है, भारत के निर्गमक और प्रह्लेखापरीक्षक से परामर्श के सल्ताद केन्द्रीय सिविल सेवा (आचरण) निगम, 1964 में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नि:शा बनाते हैं, अर्थात् :-
1- (1) इन नि:श्यों का नाम केन्द्रीय सिविल सेवा (आचरण) परीक्षा संशोधन निगम, 1976 है ।
(2) के सम्बन्ध में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रयुक्त होंगे ।
2- केन्द्रीय सिविल सेवा (आचरण) निगम, 1964 में, नि:शा 18 वीं सदी कही थी ” 1000रू0 और 500रू0” अंक और शब्द आए हैं उन्हें स्थान पर दर्शाया ”2000” और ”1000”रू0 अंक और शब्द रखे जाएँगे ।
