This notification announces the establishment of the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Tribunal. The Central Government, acting on a request from the Himachal Pradesh government and in accordance with the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, has set up this tribunal. The tribunal will be effective from the date this notification is published in the Gazette of India, which will be considered the “appointed day” as per the Act.

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th December, 2014
G.S.R. 926(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by of sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 (13 of 1985), the Central Government, on receipt of a request in this behalf from the Government of Himachal Pradesh, hereby establishes the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Tribunal with effect from the date of publication of this notification in Gazette of India, which shall be the “appointed day” within the meaning of clause (c) of Section 3 of the said Act.
