The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions has approved the induction of six IPS officers into the CBI for a five-year deputation period. These appointments are in line with the IPS Tenure Policy of 2010. The Ministry of Home Affairs has been requested to coordinate with the relevant State Governments to facilitate the immediate relieving of these officers to enable them to join their new posts. Necessary orders are to be issued promptly and this department along with the CBI should be kept informed. The competent authority has approved induction of the following IPS officers as DIG in CBI on deputation basis for an initial tenure of 5 years from the date of assumption of charge of the post, as per IPS Tenure Policy, 2010 :-
(i) Shri Madhup Kumar Tiwari, IPS (AGMU:1995),
(ii) Shri Sandeep Khirwar, IPS (HR:1995),
(iii) Shri Vineet Vinayak, IPS (SK:1995)
(iv) Dr. Shankhabrata Bagchi, IPS (AP:1996),
(v) Shri Bhanu Bhaskar, IPS (UP:1996),
(vi) Shri Gajendra Kumar Goswami, IPS (UP:1997).
2. MHA is requested to take up the matter with the concerned State Governments immediately for their relieving in order to enable them to join the CBI on deputation basis. Necessary orders may please be issued accordingly under intimation to this Department and CBI.
