Shri R Gopala Krishna Rao, an IPS officer from the 2005 batch, has been approved for induction as Superintendent of Police in the CBI for a four-year tenure, as per the IPS Tenure Policy of 2010. The Ministry of Home Affairs has been requested to coordinate with the concerned State Government to facilitate his immediate relieving to join the CBI on deputation. Necessary orders for this appointment are to be issued promptly, with intimation to the Department of Personnel & Training and the CBI.

The competent authority has approved induction of the Shri R Gopala Krishna Rao, IPS (MT:2005) as Superintendent of Police in CBI for an initial period of four years, from the date of assumption of charge of the post, as per IPS Tenure Policy, 2010.
- MHA is requested to take up the matter with the concerned State Government immediately for his relieving in order to enable him to join the CBI on deputation basis. Necessary orders may please be issued accordingly under intimation to this Department and CBI.
