The Competent Authority has approved the extension of deputation tenure for Shri Santosh Rastogi, IPS (batch 1998), who holds the position of DIG in the CBI. This extension is for a period from May 3, 2015, to May 2, 2016. The approval was communicated by the Under Secretary to the Government of India from the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training. The communication is addressed to the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation and also copied to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, Director (Police) at MHA, Director (Technical) at NIC for updating the DOPT website, and the Guard File.
