The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training, has approved the induction of four IPS officers as Superintendent of Police in the CBI for an initial tenure of 4 years, as per the IPS Tenure Policy 2010. The Ministry of Home Affairs is requested to facilitate their relieving from their respective State Governments to enable them to join the CBI on deputation. Necessary orders should be issued accordingly, with intimation to the department and CBI. Copies of this communication are to be sent to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, Director CBI, Director (Technical) NIC for updating the DOPT website, and the relevant file and guard file.

The competent authority has approved induction of the following IPS officers as Superintendent of Police in CBI on deputation basis for an initial tenure of 4 years from the date of assumption of charge of the post, as per IPS Tenure Policy, 2010:-

- MHA is requested to take up the matter with the concerned State Governments immediately for their relieving in order to enable them to join the CBI on deputation basis. Necessary orders may please be issued accordingly under intimation to this Department and CBI.
