Appointment of 07 IPS officers to DIG rank in CBI

Approval of the Competent Authority is hereby conveyed to the appointment of the following 07 IPS officers of 2003 batch (working as SP in CBI) to the rank of DIG in CBI, on their empanelment to hold DIG level post at the Centre, against existing vacancies for the period mentioned against each:

  • In respect of Shri Keshav Ram Chaurasia, IPS (JK:2003) and Shri Vidhi Kumar Birdi, IPS (JK:2003), the Committee recommended their appointment as DIG and their continuation in CBI till such time the CBI Counsel places the matter before the Hon’ble Supreme Court and obtains its orders for relieving them early.
