An official order has been issued approving the induction of Dr. Sadanand Date, an IPS officer from the UK:2007 batch, into the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Dr. Date will serve as a Superintendent of Police (SP) for an initial period of four years, commencing from the date he assumes charge of the post. This order has been conveyed by the Competent Authority and is to be noted by the Director of CBI, along with copies sent to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, the Director (Police) at MHA, the Director (Technical) at NIC for website updates, and relevant files.
