An official order has been issued approving the induction of Shri Abhishek Shandilya, an IPS officer from the 2007 batch, into the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as a Superintendent of Police (SP). This appointment is for an initial period of 4 years, commencing from the date he assumes charge of the post. The order has been communicated to the Director of the CBI and copies have been sent to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, the Director (Police) at MHA, and the Director (Technical) at NIC for updating the DOPT website.
