This order conveys the approval for the curtailment of tenure for four IPS officers serving in the CBI. The affected officers, holding ranks of Special Director, Joint Director, DIG, and SP, will have their tenures shortened with immediate effect. The decision was communicated by the EO (SM-1) Division following approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.

b) Shri Arun Kumar Sharma, IPS (GJ: 87), Joint Director, CBI;
c) Shri Manish Kumar Sinha, IPS (AP:2000), DIG, CBI and
d) Shri Jayant J. Naiknavare, IPS (MH:2005), SP/HoB, CBI
