The Competent Authority has approved the induction of IPS and Non-IPS officers to the position of Superintendent of Police (SP) within the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The appointment is on a deputation basis for an initial period of four years from the date of assuming charge, or until further notice. The order lists Shri Vikas Kumar, IPS (AGMU:2013) and Shri Vishal Chawre, (IA&AS:2010) as the officers selected for this induction.
