The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the induction of Shri N. Venu Gopal, IPS, as Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a period of five years on deputation. The order was issued by the Under Secretary to the Government of India, and copies have been sent to various officials and departments, including the Central Vigilance Commissioner, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Director of the CBI.
