The competent authority has approved the appointment of several IPS officers, currently serving as SP in CBI, to the post of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in CBI. The appointments are effective for a specified period or until further orders, whichever occurs earlier. The order lists eleven officers including Nupur Prasad, Abhishek Shandilya, and Atul Kumar Thakur.
