The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of Shri Viplav Kumar Choudhry’s deputation tenure as Joint Director, CBI, for six months beyond September 27, 2022. Additionally, Shri Nitin Deep Blaggan has been appointed as Joint Director in CBI on deputation for five years up to October 8, 2024.

ORDER
Approval of Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) is hereby conveyed for:
I. Extension in deputation tenure of Shri Viplav Kumar Choudhry, IPS (JK:1997), Joint Director, CBI for a period of six months beyond 27.09.2022 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
II. Appointment of Shri Nitin Deep Blaggan, IPS (RJ:2003) to the post of Joint Director in CBI on deputation basis from the date of assumption of charge to the post for an overall tenure of five years upto 08.10.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
