The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of deputation tenures for several Joint Directors of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Shri Rakesh Aggarwal, IPS, will have his tenure extended for three months, from March 3, 2023, to June 2, 2023. Similarly, Shri Viplav Kumar Choudhry, IPS, will have his deputation extended for one year and six months, from March 28, 2023, to September 27, 2024. Lastly, the deputation tenure of Shri Pankaj Kumar Srivastava, IPS, has been extended from February 19, 2023, to November 24, 2023, to allow completion of his 63rd NDC course.

ORDER
Approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) is hereby conveyed for:
i. Extension in deputation tenure of Shri Rakesh Aggarwal, IPS(HP:1994), Joint Director, CBI for a period of three months i.e. from 03.03.2023 to 02.06.2023 ( 7 years and 9 months in total) or until further orders, whichever is earlier, in relaxation of IPS Tenure Policy;
ii. Extension in deputation tenure of Shri Viplav Kumar Choudhry, IPS (AGMUT:1997), Joint Director, CBI for a further period of one year and six months from 28.03.2023 to 27.09.2024 ( 7 years in total) or until further orders, whichever is earlier;
iii. Extension in deputation tenure of Shri Pankaj Kumar Srivastava, IPS (MP:1992), Joint Director, CBI for a period from 19.02.2023 to 24.11.2023 i.e. upto the completion of $63^{\text {rd }}$ NDC course.
