The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri D.C. Jain, IPS (RJ:1991), Additional Director, CBI, as Special Director in CBI. Approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet is hereby conveyed for appointment of Shri D.C. Jain, IPS (RJ:1991), Additional Director, CBI as Special Director in CBI by temporarily elevating the post of Additional Director as Special Director specific to him from the date of assumption of charge to the post and for the period upto the date of his superannuation i.e. upto 31.10.2023 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
