The competent authority has approved the extension of the deputation tenure for two DIGs within the CBI. Shri Abhishek Shandilya’s tenure has been extended for one year, from September 6, 2023, to September 5, 2024, resulting in a total deputation period of six years. Similarly, Dr. Sadanand Date’s deputation tenure has been extended for two years, from October 16, 2023, to October 15, 2025, bringing his total deputation period to seven years.

ii. Extension in deputation tenure of Dr.Sadanand Date, IPS (UK:2007), DIG, CBI for further period of two years from 16.10.2023 to 15.10.2025 ( 7 years in total).
