Order Regarding Extension of Deputation Tenure for Shri P. Murugan and Dr. Vidyut Vikash at CBI

The Competent Authority has approved the extension of deputation tenure for two officers at the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Shri P. Murugan, IPS, will have his deputation extended until March 15, 2027, totaling seven years. Similarly, Dr. Vidyut Vikash, IRS, will have his deputation extended for one year beyond his initial seven-year term, up to February 18, 2025, amounting to a total of eight years. This order has been issued to the Director of CBI and copied to concerned departments for notification.

ORDER

Approval of the Competent Authority is hereby conveyed for:-
(i) extension in deputation tenure of Shri P. Murugan, IPS (JH:2010), DIG, CBI for a period upto 15.03.2027 ( 7 years in total) or until further orders whichever is earlier.
(ii) extension in deputation tenure of Dr. Vidyut Vikash, IRS (C\&IT:2008), SP, CBI for one year beyond $7^{\text {th }}$ year i.e. upto 18.02 .2025 ( 8 years in total) or until further orders whichever is earlier.
