The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the induction of Shri Anurag Kumar, IPS (AM:2004), as Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). This appointment is on a lateral shift basis from BPR&D, with a combined tenure of five years, effective until February 24, 2027.
