The Competent Authority has approved the appointment of Shri Vijayendra Kumar, an IRS officer from the 2007 batch currently serving as SP in CBI, to the position of DIG in CBI. The appointment is for a combined tenure of SP and DIG, up to July 19, 2024, or until further orders, whichever comes first.
