The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved an extension in the deputation tenure of Shri Nitin Deep Blaggan, an IPS officer serving as Joint Director at the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The extension is for a period of two years beyond October 8, 2024, or until further orders, whichever comes first.
