The competent authority has approved the induction of Shri M. Harsha Vardhan, IPS (AGMUT:2012), as Superintendent of Police in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on a deputation basis. The initial period of deputation is set for five years, starting from the date he assumes charge of the post or until further orders are issued.
