The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Kuldeep Dwivedi, IPS, and Shri C. Venkata Subba Reddy, IPS, as Joint Directors in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Shri Dwivedi’s appointment is effective from the date of assuming charge and is approved until January 17, 2026, or until further orders, whichever occurs first. Similarly, Shri Reddy’s appointment begins from the date of assuming charge and continues until October 29, 2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) is hereby conveyed for:
i. Appointment of Shri Kuldeep Dwivedi, IPS (JH:2005), DIG, CBI as Joint Director, CBI from the date of assumption of charge to the post and upto his approved deputation tenure i.e. 17.01.2026 (5 years in total) or until further orders, whichever is earlier; and
ii. Appointment of Shri C. Venkata Subba Reddy, IPS (AM:2007), DIG, CBI as Joint Director, CBI from the date of assumption of charge to the post and upto his approved deputation tenure i.e. 29.10.2029 (5 years in total) or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
