The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) is structured with a Secretary at the top, overseeing various divisions and offices. Key components include the National Statistical Commission (NSC), the National Statistics Office (NSO), and a Programme Implementation (PI) Wing. The organization is divided into Director Generals for National Sample Survey, Central Statistics, and Data Governance. These divisions handle household surveys, economic statistics, national accounts, social statistics, and price statistics, among other functions. Additional support is provided by an Additional Secretary and a Financial Advisor, alongside a Joint Secretary & Chief Vigilance Officer.
