Amendment of Provisions in Central Staffing Scheme relating to Central Establishment Board

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved amendments to the Central Staffing Scheme. The changes pertain to the constitution, functions, and references related to the Central Establishment Board as outlined in specific paragraphs of the earlier Office Memorandum. The Hindi version of this amendment will be released separately.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject- Amendment of Provisions in Central Staffing Scheme relating to Central Establishment Board – regarding

Attention is invited to DoPT’s OM No. 36/77/94-EO (SM-I) dated $5^{\circ}$ January, 1996, relating to the Central Staffing Scheme.
2. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the amendment in DoPT’s O.M. No. 36/77/94-EO (SM-I) dated $5^{\circ}$ January, 1996, which prescribes guidelines relating to Central Staffing Scheme, to the extent that the constitution, functions and other references relating to the Central Establishment Board mentioned in para 20 and 22 of the said O.M. would stand deleted.
