The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) is structured with several key divisions. It is headed by a Secretary, and includes bodies such as the National Statistical Commission (NSC) Secretariat and the National Statistics Office (NSO). There are Director Generals overseeing various areas including National Sample Survey, Central Statistics, and Data Governance. Other key divisions cover Indian Statistical Service, Budget & Finance, Infrastructure and project Monitoring, Research and Analysis, and Media & Publicity.
